Miami, 1991
When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he transforms from student to vigilante serial killer under the tutelage of his father Harry… Christian Slater is older than James Remar was , when Dexter (2006) first aired.

I went into it with pretty low expectations and I’m mostly just excited about Resurrection. The beginning of the first episode was terrible with the editing and the CGI police car, so I thought “oh man, this is not going to work”.
Just one more episode and I’m already hooked!
By the end of the first episode, I was already eating crow because the actors embodied their characters perfectly and the story had a lot of promise. While we already know a lot of the backstory, the first episode had a few surprises that added depth to some of the characters we’ve come to know and love, and added background to the choices those characters make.
