Story
After winning the lottery, the lives of the lucky winners become a nightmare. References Tuulen viemää (1939). A comedy? Hmmm… not exactly, and not in the style of Cohen or Tarantino. I don’t usually like comedies, especially French ones, but this one is really worth watching. It’s funny, imaginative, brilliant and also bloody – yes, bloody – and always surprising. Several different stories, several segments showing people who have won the lottery but in reality get into a lot of trouble. The first segment is shown before the opening credits. This plot should have been talked about much earlier. At least I’ve never heard of anything like this before. This story doesn’t make you jealous if you want to win the lottery. But don’t worry, you have a multi-million chance of winning. So, I think it’s better to be a loser.
